Description

The Triage Parasite Panel EIA is a qualitative enzyme immunoassay that provides rapid, simultaneous detection of the three clinically significant protozoan parasites, Giardia lamblia (duodenalis), Cryptosporidium parvum, and Entamoeba histolytica/dispar.

The Triage Parasite Panel EIA is indicated for initial stool testing for these protozoa, and for treatment follow-up. If provider is concerned about detection of additional pathogens, the Rapid Infectious Diarrhea PCR Pnl should be ordered (through PowerPlans).
