Description

This test is useful as a tumor marker for placental or gonadal HCG producing neoplasms. Beta HCG is NOT the appropriate test to request for pregnancy diagnosis.

Specimen: Whole Blood

Container(s): Red or Gold SST or Lt. Green/Lithium Heparin Microtainer

Preferred Vol: 4 mL

Minimum Vol:  1.6 mL
