Note: This test is for a single level of ibuprofen. For a timed study, collect four specimens: baseline, 60, 120, and 180 min post dose (Lab: order Ibuprof P2, enter time for 30 min specimen as "time collected"); or 30, 60, 120, and 180 minutes post dose (Lab: order Ibuprof 4, enter time for 30 min specimen as "time collected").

 

Off-site collection:  For a timed study, collect 4 specimens: baseline, 60, 120, and 180 minutes post dose; or 30, 60, 120, and 180 minutes post dose. Spin blood, transfer plasma/serum to a plastic aliquot container.  May be sent at room temperature.
