Container(s): 24 Hour Urine Jug

Preferred Vol: 50 mL

Minimum Vol:  25 mL

 

Note: Preservatives: No preservatives are needed to start collection. Please notify lab (X7-2102) to obtain jug without preservatives. Go to the Clinical lab with patient label to obtain urine jug. Storage: Refrigerate sample during collection. Document start and stop dates and times, along with the patient information. Deliver labeled jug to Clinical lab upon completion. Notes: Method is affected by hemolysis and turbidity.
