Preferred Vol: 1.0 mL

Minimum Vol: 0.5 mL

 

Note: Overnight fasting is preferred. Specify age and sex of patient. 

Minimum volume of 1.0 mL may be shared with FSH, LH.

Limitations: Turbidity may affect results.

Hook effect: The Vitros Prolactin test has no high dose hook effect up to 20,680 ng/mL (440,000 mIU/mL)
