Description

This test provides quantitative analysis of Sulfocysteine in Urine.  This test is useful in the diagnosis of Sulfocysteinuria and Molybdenum Cofactor Deficiency.

 

Sample Requirements

Specimen: Urine

Preferred Vol: 5 mL

Minimum Vol: 2 mL

 

Notes:  Freeze the specimen immediately after collection at -80C if possible. Do not add preservatives.
