Specimen: Whole Blood

Container(s): Lavender/EDTA

Preferred Vol: 10.0 mL

Minimum Vol: 6.0 mL

 

Note: Patient should be fasting (12 - 14 hours). Remove tourniquet after blood flow is initiated. Place specimen on ice for transport to Lab.

Serum is acceptable, not preferred.
