Description

This test provides quantitative analysis of Sulfocysteine in Urine. This test is useful in the diagnosis of Sulfocysteinuria and Molybdenum Cofactor Deficiency.

 

Sample Requirements

Specimen: Urine

Container(s): Sterile Screw-capped Container

Preferred Vol: 4.0 mL

Minimum Vol: 2.0 mL

 

Notes: Freeze the specimen immediately after collection at -80 C if possible. DO NOT add preservatives.
