Description

A lymph node is procured to assess etiology for altered size, texture or appearance.  The most typical condition inducing such changes include normal reaction, infection or malignancy. Routine processing and histopathology is always performed with addition of flow cytometric immunophenotyping, cytogenetics, culture, etc. as necessitated by clinical setting and histopathologic findings.
