Note: Cytokine levels may demonstrate diurnal variation. Recommend cytokine levels be determined at the same time of day for improved longitudinal comparison.
Processing Instructions
Reject due to: Gross hemolysis. Thawed Plasma.
Spin: Y - Spin blood at 3000 x g for 10 minutes at 4° C within 6 hours of draw.

Temp: -20 C
Storage location: Spin sample and transfer EDTA plasma to plastic aliquot tube. Freeze sample in CPA -20 freezer send-outs rack.
Off-site collection: Draw blood in an EDTA Vacutainer tube. Mix thoroughly. Centrifuge at 3000 g for 10 minutes at 4 C within 6 hours of draw. Store frozen and ship plasma frozen.
