T3 Uptake

Important Note

This test is no longer offered by Seattle Children's hospital.

Note to Seattle Children's Staff: Inform ordering provider that testing will not be performed. We offer a recommended test (below) that they can choose to add-on.

The recommended replacements are TSH and Free T4.

Sample Requirements

Notify ordering provider that this test is no longer available at Seattle Children's and we do not send this test out to other reference laboratories.

Clinical Utility

Seattle Children’s does not offer T3 Uptake testing for clinical indications.

 

Seattle Children’s does not send T3 Uptake testing out to other reference laboratories because we do not perform third party billing for tests that are not clinically indicated.
