Container(s): Gold SST, Dark Green/Sodium Heparin, Red

Preferred Vol: 1.0 mL

Minimum Vol: 1.0 mL

 

Note: Collect specimens for LH (luteinizing hormone) and FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) at 0, 20, 40 minutes post LHRH factrel. Label specimens and requisitions with time of collection. Specify age and sex of patient.

Storage location: CPA refrigerator, FrigD rack. Serum/plasma should be removed from separator for storage.

 

Off-site collection: Collect specimens for LH (luteinizing hormone) and FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) at 0, 20, 40 minutes post LHRH factrel. Label specimens and requisitions with time of collection. On requisition, specify age and sex of patient. Spin blood. Transfer serum/plasma to plastic aliquot container. Refrigerate.
