Container(s): Gold SST, Red, Dark Green/Sodium Heparin, or Lt. Green/Lithium Heparin Microtainer(s)
Preferred Vol: 2.0 mL
Minimum Vol: 0.5 mL
Note: Deliver to the Lab within 1/2 hour of collection. Please mark specimen plainly as acute or convalescent. Convalescent specimens may be sent within 30 days of acute specimens.
Processing Instructions
Reject due to: Contaminated, heat-inactivated, Hemolyzed, severely lipemic specimens. Any other body fluid. Repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

infection.
