CORE: Add 0.5 mL CSF to 1.0 mL cold 6% perchloric acid and mix by vortexing. Centrifuge and transfer supernate to plastic tube. Store in CPA Freezer, Fz5 rack.
Off-site collection: Prepare protein-free filtrate: Add 0.5 mL CSF to 1.0 mL cold 6% perchloric acid (PCA) and mix by vortexing. Centrifuge and transfer supernate to plastic tube. Send frozen.
