Minimum Vol: 0.3 mL
Note: Stool must be "Fresh and Liquid". Testing can only be performed on stools sufficiently liquid to yield a fully aqueous supernatant after centrifugation.

Method: PVC Membrane Dndirect Potentiometry
Analytical Volume: 0.3 mL
Limitations: Since the virus that causes COVID-19 can be shed in stool, chemistry assays will only be performed on liquid stool samples from patients with chronic diarrhea and a documented negative SARS-CoV-2 PCR test within 3 days of stool collection.
