Description
This assay is intended for the detection of IgG class antibodies to PR3 (Proteinase 3) in human serum. It is used as an aid in the diagnosis of various autoimmune vasculitic disorders characterized by elevated levels of anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA), especially microscopic polyangitis (MPA). May also be useful to monitor treatment response in MPA. The reported result is semi-quantitative.
