Minimum Vol: 3.0 mL
Note: NO SERUM SEPARATOR TUBES! Do not refrigerate or place on ice. Deliver whole blood to lab along with BWNW Immunogenetics/HLA Laboratory Requisition. Fill out entire form as completely as possible. Document date of collection on specimen label and requisition. Information on the label and requisition must match exactly. Routine samples are accepted 7 days/week.

Storage Location: Keep at room temperature. Complete a BWNW Immunogenetics/HLA Laboratory Requisition. Fill out as completely as possible, making sure the ordering provider is listed. Place a large Epic label in the top right corner. Deliver the bagged sample and requisition to the room temperature Send Outs rack. After hours or on weekends, send sample to BWNW via Delivery Express.
Off-site Collection: Keep whole blood at room temperature and transport to Seattle Children's Main Lab.
