Note: Collect bone marrow or whole blood in Dark Green/Sodium Heparin tube OR heparinized syringe (20 units of heparin/mL of specimen). Transfer samples collected in heparinized syringe to additive-free tube for transport. EDTA is acceptable, not preferred.
