Preferred Vol: 10.0 mL each
Minimum Vol: 10.0 mL each
Note: Draw Sunday - Thursday at any time. Samples must be drawn before 10:00 am on Fridays and cannot be drawn on Saturdays. A BWNW Platelet Immunology Laboratory RFT must be completed and accompany specimens to lab. Send tubes to lab immediately. These samples must reach the BWNW Platelet Immunology Laboratory within 48 hours of collection.

Storage Location: DO NOT SPIN BLOOD. During business hours, notify the Send Outs department when samples are received. After hours or on weekends, send the bagged sample and requisition DIRECT to BWNW via Delivery Express courier. The samples must reach the Platelet Immunology Laboratory within 48 hours of collection.
Note: For Platelet Alloantibodies testing, samples can be drawn Sunday - Thursday at any time. Samples must be drawn before 10:00 am on Fridays and cannot be drawn on Saturdays.
