Note: Please allow a minimum of 72 h after starting or changing a dose before drawing a Voriconazole level. Draw trough level 30-60 min before next dose. Microtainers are unacceptable.

Reference Range

Trough therapeutic range 1 - 5.5 mcg/mL

 

Trough level (ie, immediately before next dose) monitoring is recommended. Trough levels >6 mcg/mL (and especially >10 mcg/mL) have been associated with toxicity in several reports. Trough levels <1 mcg/mL have been associated with suboptimal response in several reports.
