Reference Test Name: Anti-Xa for Rivaroxaban Level
Reference Test Code: RIVAR1
Instructions: Send out Monday through Friday with the UW courier.

Description

The ability of patient plasma to inhibit a chromogenic assay for activated factor X is measured. The rivaroxaban concentration is determined by comparing the inhibition of factor Xa by patient plasma to a calibration curve generated using known concentrations of rivaroxaban.
