Container(s): Sterile screw-capped container, Clean container also acceptable.

Preferred Vol: 5 mL

Minimum Vol: 2 mL

Note: Timed collection is preferred (24 hours).


Processing Instructions

Reject due to: Spun sample, insufficient quantity

Temp: 2-8 C

Storage location: Store original container and labels in CPA refrigerator, FrigB bucket.

Off-site collection: Mix the primary container thoroughly and aliquot into a 15ml falcon tube using the appropriate aliquot label. The aliquot must be added to the transfer list for testing at main campus. Send sample refrigerated.
