Container(s): Sterile Screw-Capped Container, Clean container also acceptable.

Preferred Vol: 5 mL

Minimum Vol: 2 mL

 

Note: Timed collection (24 hours) is preferred. Deliver labeled container to clinical lab upon completion.

Off-site collection: Timed collection is preferred.  Mix the primary container thoroughly and aliquot into a 15ml falcon tube using the appropriate aliquot label. The aliquot must be added to the transfer list for testing at main campus. Send sample refrigerated.
