Important Note

Measles IgM is not always recommended by the State. Priority of testing (STAT vs. Routine) is determined by the appropriate Local Health Jurisdiction or State Epidemiologist on call (206) 418-5500. Ordering provider must contact the Local Health Jurisdiction or State Epidemiologist and then notify Lab (ext. 7-2102) of testing priority.

Note: Collect at illness. For optimal isolation, collect within 72 hours of symptom onset.
