Methodology

Method:  Flow Cytometry

Description

This qualitative assay is used to identify the B27 Human Leukocyte Antigen. The presence of the HLA-B27 antigen in a patient with symptoms has been found to be highly associated with Ankylosing Spondylitis and related disorders.
