Preferred Vol: 2.0 mL

Minimum Vol: 0.6 mL

 

Note: Other acceptable samples include CSF (stable frozen for 30 days) and BAL (stable refrigerated for 8 days and frozen for 30 days).

Processing Instructions

Reject due to: Samples containing heparin or received at room temperature.

Storage location: Spin sample within 2 hours of collection and aliquot into a plastic aliquot tube. Store in CPA freezer send-outs rack.
